השכלה והכשרות:

2016 – 2023 Ph.D. בתכנית ללימודי מגדר, אוניברסיטת בר אילן, בהנחיית ד"ר מירי רוזמרין.

2017  הכשרה בארה"ב במסגרת משלחת IVLP עולמית של מחלקת המדינה האמריקאית, בנושא חינוך ואקטיביזם של נערות ונשים צעירות.

2001  - 2003 MA (בהצטיינות), מכון כהן להיסטוריה ופילוסופיה של המדעים והרעיונות, אוניברסיטת ת"א.

1997  - 1999 B.Sc (בהצטיינות) במדעי החיים, מסלול מחקר מואץ, אוניברסיטת ת"א.

רחל לוי הרץ מפתחת תוכן ומובילה פרויקטים ותוכניות ברחבי הארץ לקידום חינוך מודע מגדר ושינוי חברתי, תוך יצירת שיתופי פעולה עם רשויות וארגונים שונים.

רחל מרצה ומרכזת פרויקט "מעורבות אזרחית", ביחידה למעורבות חברתית באוניברסיטת תל אביב, שם היא מלמדת אקטיביזם חברתי ומלווה את ההתמחות של סטודנטים.ות בארגונים חברתיים שונים.  

בעברה, הייתה המנהלת המקצועית של מרכז רותם במכללת ספיר, לקידום מחקר ועשייה בשטח למען ועם נערות ונשים צעירות (יהודיות ובדואיות) בפריפריה הדרומית, המתמודדות עם מצבים של סיכון. 

Rachel Levi Herz - CV

Rachel Levi Herz is a doctoral candidate at the Gender Studies Program, Bar Ilan university. She is a project manager and a lecturer in Tel Aviv university (the Unit of Social Involvement) and she specializes in education for gender equality, social activism, adolescence and early adulthood, sexuality, agency and subjectivity of young women. She is a member of the steering committee of the National Young Women Parliament and education committees for gender equality in several municipalities and organizations in Israel. Her research, under the supervision of Dr. Miriam Rozmarin, focuses on sexual subjectivity and sexual agency of young women in vulnerable social spaces. This research uses vulnerability as an analytic term to enable a deeper understanding of gender and social power relations.
